On our trip to Lapland we did a two day snow scooter hike to Patsankijoki.
In these cabins there is no water and no electricity.
Once there the priority was chopping a hole in the creek behind the cabin to get water. Water to drink, to prepare food, and to wash ourselves in the sauna.
Once the hole was made in the creek, we couldn't resist getting our feet in there, we practice "ice bearing" after all ;)
