I had been wanting to try macro photography for a long time. But if I was going to do it, then I wanted it to be something challenging and interesting. Boy was I in for a surprise when I chose to try and capture a live jumping spider. It probably took me at least 50 tries to nail this shot. The spider kept running all around, but I caught this one as it was peaking around a rock at me. I like it because I can feel the little guys brain saying "What in the world is wrong with this dude."
