This was shot back in October, 2013...about 6 weeks after getting my first DSLR. I'd been messing around with some landscape shots in other locations and was ready to try some long exposure beach shots. The sun was just starting to creep up over the horizon and the clouds were lining up perfectly. I was most concerned with getting the water to go smooth so I tried several shutter times until I got it right. This one was a finalist in Charleston Magazine's Images of the Lowcountry contest and still one of my favorites today. I hope you like it.
