Great Blue Heron (finally) stepping into the sun and giving me a nice side profile. Must have been a hungry bird since it tolerated me hanging around to watch him fish. Wanted to snap of photo of it with a catch, but I watched him try and fail at least a dozen times— not unlike I have tried and failed to nab a nicely lit, up close still of one these on many occasions.
