Lone Tree in a Lavender Field

After viewing so many gorgeous photographs on the internet, I've always wanted to visit the lavender fields in France. So, when I discovered that there were lavender fields only a few kilometers from where I live, I couldn't miss the chance. We scouted the area with a friend in quest of a lone tree in the lavender fields. And you can see what we discovered in this image. This evening, we were treated with a spectacular sunset! We also discovered that lavender does not repel mosquitos!

The image was captured using a Fujifilm X-T20 and the XF 10-24mm lens. The colors and light were stunning on their own, but some post-processing was required to enhance them!

The location is Mesimeri, a small village close to the city of Thessaloniki in Greece.
