When that happens, I find it best to return to the most basic experience of photography: taking a camera out with no objective in mind and without loads of equipment, simply to explore and enjoy viewing the world in a way that is not possible with the naked eye. After all, it is that magical moment when a shot comes together that got us all hooked on photography in the first place; it was all the complications that came afterward that caused us frustration.
