Wildlife Photography With the New Nikon Z8

Camouflaged to the max, Morten Hilmer is going full stealth mode on his farmland with the brand new Nikon Z8 for wildlife photography. Join Hilmer as he captures some magnificent wildlife with this new offering from Nikon.

Watching Hilmer's videos is always a pleasure. His filming style, music choices, amazing photography, and wildlife blend well for this video.

Hilmer has spent eight days with the new Nikon Z8 to put it through its paces, and it's safe to say he is impressed, as the internals of the camera are very similar to its bigger brother, the Nikon Z9. Morten begins the video with photographing the local Hares in his farmland and discussing the camouflage techniques he is using along with the hide. The eye autofocus appears to be a winner for wildlife photography.

Later on in the video, Hilmer shows off a homemade sled for his camera gear, which allows him to get lower and closer to the very shy animals he wishes to photograph. Hilmer captures some stunning footage and images of the local hares who are no longer concerned about his presence.

Hilmer ends the video with filming and photographing a fox and badger at ISOs over 10,000, which look absolutely fantastic and show that the Nikon Z8 is certainly up there with other great low-light performers.
