This weeks episode of Critique the Community provided a wonderful exercise in photographic simplicity. Of the many beautiful submissions we received, here are our thoughts on 20 of them.
To kick things off, we'd like to congratulate Ziga Radsel for submitting the image that received the highest average community rating. We'd also like to congratulate Tom MacDonald for being the randomly selected entrant to win a free tutorial. We will be in touch with both of you via your Fstoppers profile to receive your choice in an Fstoppers original tutorial.
As discussed in the video, we are considering limiting the number of images we select for each episode to 10. We hope this will make each episode a little shorter, more focused, and more digestible. We will continue to give away two free tutorials in each episode. Do you think this is a good idea? Let us know in the comments.
If you enjoyed this episode and want to participate in our next one, the submissions are open for your best images taken at night.
Could you please enable captions in future videos? It'll help us deaf folks. Thanks!
Thanks for this suggestion, Jen. We've never looked into it in the past so I appreciate you bringing this to our attention!
I really enjoy how many photos you critique. I would prefer to see 20 photos as before. But if 10 photos will help you to do critique more often then go for it.
Thanks for your work!
