--- "I see overrated and underrated photos of other photographers."

Therein lies the crux of all your whining and sniveling. That's just your opinion. You are no one to judge other people's opinions.

--- "you could try being a little less aggressive"

On the same token, you could try acting like a grown man instead of acting like an little 8 year girl that didn't get her way. This is a contest, a competition. Not some empowerment meeting with folks with low esteem issues. Your constant complaining just devalues the contest and the contestants.

Just play the game and enjoy the game and keep the crybaby complaints to yourself.

You are so anoying

Actually, I'm not. You on the other hand, are very very much annoying. You are a grown-ass man and act like you still suck your thumb. Crying over nothing. You should be embarrassed. It's a friendly fun free contest. Play or don't play.

That reminds me. A few contests ago, the constant sniveling got so bad, they had a rule that if you complain about the ratings, your submission(s) will be disqualified. That was a great rule.

Childish people like you always want to have the last word. Sometimes I forget that good piece of advice: do not feed the troll. Have a nice day.

I agree 100% with Frederico. I see there very many nice photos with 2 stars barely 3 while there are also “snapshots” with 1.8 star. Like c’mon.

Perhaps many images taken with a Smartphone are indeed snapshots, but I feel in most cases the photographer likely considered subject, lighting et al, thus rendering it not so.

In my own entries the Smartphone was a deliberate choice as it has distinct advantages over using my DSLR (which was slung over my shoulder).

I have personally rated images on the more positive side given the limitations of the device they were captured on.

Hello everyone!
