The Quiring is undeniably one of the most beautiful hikes on the Isle of Skye in Scotland. Despite it not being an epic sunset I found this beautiful composition with a great amount of depth in the foreground layers, the trail as the leading line swooping around the middle cliff continuing its arch of light into the background.

Stunning view, stunning light, fantastic framing and crop, and a perfect job on managing the overall tones; shadows seem to know exactly when to be revealed, and when to be nearly black, and that helps the image appear truly realistic, instead of a surreal / fake HDR scene. The only place where the tones even get remotely close to being "HDR-Y" is in the sky, where I feel there's just a touch too much middle-grey, when I'd like to see a bit more drama like there is in the light and shadow on the foreground itself.

I feel like there might be a faint glow effect applied though, and I'm not really a fan of those unless the scene is actually being actively enveloped in thick fog.

Strong composition but the glow effect is a bit too strong for me here - the whole image feels unfocussed. The sky is a bit drab too but nice effort.

I love your photography and your YouTube channel is one of the best - probably my favorite right now. I appreciate your generous instruction...
