This was taken a couple years ago while visiting the Grand Canyon South Rim. Unfortunately, there was a fire somewhere in the area, and it was filling the canyon with smoke. Not the dramatic, awesome looking smoke, but rather the dull haze smoke. Thankfully, the sun decided to peek out through the clouds and give some nice light dimension to this shot.
