Another known location from Iceland, and again, I wanted to do something different from this location during winter.
I visited this location during the summer the year before, but it gets so crowded, and everyone does the same shots.
So when winter gave me the chance to shoot a reflection in the clean ice, and get the stars to, at this illuminated waterfall, I had to shoot it.
Controlling all the shadows and the hard light, was really kinda difficult.
Is that an actual reflection in ice or did you mirror the top part of the image? There's something weird going on in the middle part with textured ice but reflections at the same time.
It is indeed an actual reflection, the only thing I really did to the image, was to use a few different exposures due to harsh light from the spotlights on the waterfall, and to get the stars in the images as well
