A Ship in the Storm. So I planned to shoot this with my Nikon D7000 and my Canon A1 loaded with an H5 Film. Shiprock is an 1 1/2 HR drive from my home and my wife was participating in the Shiprock Fair. It was raining on the way there, and she calls me saying she needed my DSLR to shoot photos of the Fair. Thinking I still had my Film Camera, I gave her my Nikon and headed to monument only to discover, the battery was dead. Defeated, I took a snap shot of this with my iPhone, (with composition in mind). And headed home. Still one of my favorite shots taken

that peak is everything!
Very true! There are better images out there with Clouds flowing over Shiprock that still showed the peak. It’s all I could get. Next rain storm I’m headed out with better planning
