It was on the list to photograph just because I wanted to capture this unique scene. But by now this place is shot so many times times that everyone has an image of Kirkjufell. I went for a late sunset/early blue hour shot to try and capture a somewhat different style for my take of this great part of Iceland.

I feel lie you could have got a better result taking an exposure for the sky and one for the foreground and blending them together. The halo you're getting around the mountain takes away from the image.
Good point, I do have mutliple exposures. I thought i got away with it on this one. I guess I missed some of the halo. You inspired me to re-edit this image!
