Definitely unique. I rated two stars, however, because the colors feel a bit off. I'd punch of the contrast a bit and make the color a bit less blue.

Definitely a very rare site. I am questioning what the mosquito is on, as blue is not a common skin colour. The grainy nature of the image makes me think this is super enlarged.
Still, I gave three stars because it is definitely something I could see in a biology text.
Thanks, Daniel. The mosquito is on the knee of my blue jeans. I've seen hundreds of photos of mosquitoes on flesh - not "unique". Not the technically best in my portfolio but definitely my most unique shot of 2019. Thanks for the 3.
I don't like the zoomed in window on the left. It's unnecessary as the detail can be seen easily in the main picture and it distracts from the composition.
