Nice shot. I had to rate it a 2-star image. There is something in the foreground on the right side that is super distracting. With that removed from the image, it would be a solid three, maybe even a four. I just can not get past it.
Thank you. It’s was part of the barn post. Where the window is. I don’t know photoshop well enough to try remove it. Thank you again and it’s a lesson learn for me.
I also rated a two but felt like an explanation was in order. Love the light and color, really well done. I was also distracted by the foreground, felt it made the image feel unbalanced. It also appears that the focus is just slightly in front of the eye and the depth of field is very shallow leaving the face slightly soft. Was this shot wide open with a fast lens? Definitely more than a snapshot, you have a good control of your light.
