"Girl in Banaras" is a street style portrait of a girlchild roaming around her village. She had a "dupatta" with her which is a woman's clothing item in the Indian traditional wear which is worn like a stole over traditional outfits called "kurtas" and "sarees". She saw me right in the camera and I had just a moment to catch this shot. Although slightly blurry focuswise I found it powerful. The girl was shot in Mangari village near the oldest town in the world of Varanasi (Banaras) in India.
Shot on Canon R5. 1/200th F/5 ISO100 35mm
