A couple of test shots from the Zenitar-ME1

Can you spot the square aperture? 50mm f1.7, Soviet, manufactured in 1986.

Just picked up my copy off eBay, $400usd so a bit steep, but I am already super impressed. It shows almost no issues at f1.7 (I've seen modern Nikon 50's that struggle around here), is super sharp, and the square/diamond bokeh is absolutely beautiful. Quite bright as well, good light transmittance.

Will be aiming to do a more detailed write-up/video on it soon!
