First off, I'm sure some will have noticed a drop off from one of our most active members, Jennifer.
Just to let you know that I have been in contact with Jenny and she has been going through issues with her vision that needed corrective surgery.
On top of this, Jenny has been receiving unwanted personal attention from someone I understand has since been removed from fstoppers. Discomforted by the experience Jenny has decided to replace her original account with a new one - this has been replaced with a more generic name of 'Photo Girl'. The link to her account is https://fstoppers.com/profile/photogirl should you wish to drop her a personal message.
Jenny has always been supportive of all members, committing time and effort when responding to the posts of others. I'm sure like I you wish the best for her and the hopes that she will revisit the group soon.
Update 2
I have seen a large number of recent posts hit by an account (Anna Rose) posting the desire to purchase everyone's artwork for vast sums of money. I have reported this scam to the site admins and deleted all of the posts I can find.
If you do see more of these just ignore them.
Hoping the weather is cooperating for others and you are able to get out and shoot some epic scenes!
Thank you for updating us. I was looking forward to Jennifer's February Challenge, and thought it odd by her absence. It's really sad the Trolls inhabit the internet.
I get posts from people like Anna Rose a lot on Social Media and never respond.
Yeah, same here. I don't respond to the majority of NFT spam requests but occasionally have a bit of fun taking them for a ride.
For some reason they seem to drop off when asked to help with the NFT gas cost as a sign of good faith.
If anyone HAS seen success selling images as NFT's I'm sure members would love to hear your experiences.
