Hmmmm. It looks like chrome and its scratched up. I want to say that it is the back side of the two side mirrors of a car? Tricky. I'm not sure about that guess.
No, it is not chrome. It is transparant if that helps...

Plastic fantastic ftw, but in this instance, while the shape would last — even after the rest of one's bodyparts have succumbed to gravity — the tactile experience would be less than optimal...
