I actually like this - I find my gaze being drawn in toward the light and then dancing around the frame. It has a great, moody feel to it and does look like an aged oil painting.
I can't see this hanging on a wall though, except perhaps in a gilded frame in a museum. It wouldn't exactly make a room 'pop'. :-)
I can always overinflate balloons if I want that, Alan. You've been in the USA too long! ;-) Do I recall you mentioning childhood in Blighty?
My gaze does what yours does. I was pushing the minimalist idea to see whether it holds up. I still think I like it, and might even print it (but perhaps leave it out of my online shop...).
Not too cluttered but my eye doesn't know where to fall. This one doesn't work as well as the others for me. Sorry!
I was taking it a bit far. Thanks for the observation, Ruth.
Just wait till the gilded sailing ships come into shot.
