Lovely David. My favorite part is that the line between sea and sky is almost indistinguishable. There is a mystical, ephemeral feeling that is so soft and pretty. I love it!

North of France is famous for the pastel tonalities during winter Times. That's What I wanted : the sea to be melted with Sky and the line just marked with the boat.

We'll there you have it! Success!

Couldn't call this one cluttered, David! Soft, subtle impressionism. Beautiful and uplifting.

I do find that I want to swing your camera to the right, to put the boats sailing into the scene, and especially not have the right-hand one at the very edge of the frame. But this is very subjective, and you know what you're doing.

With my obsession about horizons, I thought this image was rotated clockwise, but on checking I note you've got it dead straight. I'd be torn in your place between rotating it 0.3 - 0.4 degrees anticlockwise, which LOOKS straight to me, or leaving it "correct". I think it's to do with the placement of the boats. Anyone else see the same effect?

I am equally obsessed with horizons. I did look twice at this one but I think that, because it is softer on the right than left, it gives the illusion that you mention. But I wouldn't change it. I like it as is.
