Tree reflection falling on water waves prompted me for this composition and frame. was taken about 30 minutes past sunrise.
Faced couple of challenges. The sky was absolutely plain. Could not understand how to make it complementing the water. Second, even manually focusing and using all the tricks, did not get the desired sharpness for the tree.
FEED-BACK WELCOME
If the tree's not sharp, the shot is fundamentally flawed before you go any further, Vijay. Sometimes you just have to put an image aside as unworkable. There seem to be the elements for an interesting, simple image here. I think the plain sky could work, with the tree against it, and the interesting ripples below. However, I'm not too enamoured of the composition, that tree looking poked up into the top of the frame, and the horizon too nearly central. I think I'd have aimed the camera higher, or perhaps used a slightly shorter focal length. I'd probably take a dozen variants at the scene. It all doesn't quite gel for me. Sorry!
@Chris, i get what you are saying. during low light hours, a sharp focus is challenging. sooner will figure the way out. Reason to post was also to know about other matters as well. thanks.
I agree with Chris on this Vijay!
