Dogwoods are in Bloom

and they are a favorite of mine. They are native here. You'll be walking through the woods and come upon a tree covered with delicate, upturned flowers that, from below, look almost like butterflies.

Beautiful!

love it but those pesky brown spots ruin perfection of nature for me its like water spots on a lens or dust on the sensor

I agree with joseph about the spots but other than that I like it

This beauty a little too imperfect, it seems. ;-(

Nice composition, I do also agree about the spots, but doesn't completely ruin it for me. I like how the color is, not too much, not too little. Very graphic too, nice shot.

Thanks all! I appreciate the feedback. I took out the spots on the petals and interestingly, I didn't like it as much. The flower looked plastic. I like it's imperfection! Odd but there you have it! :)
