Sandra McCabe's picture

Red snake

Abstract of an ordinary image that needs explaining. Taken in our sunroom looking through very thick plastic to our back yard. The colours (which I have enhanced) come from a small red table inside the sunroom and greens from bushes and trees outside. When there is a breeze and the sun shines onto the plastic, it creates patterns in the plastic. Just a bit of fun.

I seriously love this. Cool things that make patterns like this are totally captivating for me. I would be out there creating scenes and color changes and .... to photograph through the plastic. My neighbors would have yet more to stare and wonder about. It would just devolve from there! I'm so glad YOU have the magic plastic though because this is really cool!

:)

Thanks so much Ruth ! The other day as I was standing on a ladder collecting moss from our roof, I asked hubby if he thought anyone else in the world was doing this too .... he said no. I rest my case about people wonderful lol 😊

I thought this'd appeal to Ruth... ;-) Wild. Even by your standards, Sandra!

Thanks heaps Chris !!! Are you a Tassie?

A Vickie.

I love this too. I always like kinda crazy abstractions and visual puzzles. Have you tried a polarizer with those reflections? It might create some colors in those patters. It might also cause them to disappear completely, you would just have to try it.

Many thanks Kevin .. will have to check the polarizer out. Great idea !!
