"Underfoot" Day 9, #17 #18

I shipped 21 prints to Chautauqua this afternoon. One extra in case something is damaged in transit. The exhibition opens on June 16.

Surprisingly, there was a huge difference between the FedEx store, the UPS store, and Staples UPS service. In all three cases, I took one print with me and told them I had 21 of these that had to be in Chautauqua by Tuesday, and I asked all three to supply the packing materials and do the packing. FedEx was very professional but was the most expensive at about $360.00. UPS was not quite as costly at $340.00 and offered to take another 5% off that when I did not jump at the price. Staples ended up being about a third of the others, I think at least partially because the very young women who were working this afternoon were not so experienced at packing artwork (I had to supervise more than I would have thought necessary) and they may not have charged me for all the materials they ended up using (including about $50.00 worth of bubble wrap.)

Yeah, a lot of these were shot on different parts of Callowhill Street on different days.
