Cool, Jeremy! Love your composition here. Don't know how much control you can exert. I like the colours, too.

Thanks :-)

Hey Jeremy, Nice job! I'm curious where your light source was for this. I do a lot of these and the more simple in color they get, the more prominent the light reflection is. You have a very simple color grade here and no light reflections. I do think that the image is a little dark but that could be perked up in post.

Here is one of mine to show what I'm talking about. You'll see the overly dominant light on each bubble. I'm not fond of this and that it why I am curious about your light source - what it is and where it is.

Lastly, I was just posting some side shots of oil in water. I'd love to see what you would come up with in that style. It is great having someone doing the same type thing!

Thanks, Ruth I lit these from bellow with fairy lights.
I followed this video.

Basically, I put water and oil in a pyrex container then popped it up on two logs then I put the lights underneath and household paper on top of the lights to diffuse them.

Good work. Love the colors very much. The composition is good as well, but could be improved in my opinion. I think the left and top/left image border is too dense and the main subject needs a bit more space here.

I also agree to Ruth. I think the lighting is too flat and the bubbles definitely need some additional modulation by light.

Keep going, Jeremy. :)

Thanks, Peter.
I re-edited the photo do you think this looks better?
