Sorry Chris, but this one doesn't quite do it for me. I find myself bouncing between the light cloud in the center, the contrasty cloud above and the highlights on the cloud at the bottom. Without an interesting subject to anchor the eye it tends to wander.
That said, I'm not a big fan of high-contrast skies anyway so I can see other opinions differing from mine.
Sigh..... I love these. I have the opposite reaction than Alan. Uh oh. I just realized that I'm going to have to start citing Jablonski as an inspiration. ;)
Yeah, like I said I can see others loving this. Just goes to show that although we are all in agreement on numerous occasions we all still have our individual styles and tastes.
Not surprised at your reaction to this, Alan, as you similarly found a very sparse sea/cloudscape I posted when we were doing experimental posts, soon after Ruth got this Group going, to be lacking
