Dandelion intent on its own reflection. I often reflect on my images .... is it good .. is it bad .. no it's awful .. aarggghhh I don't know !!!! lol 😄
It's a good shot. I may have been tempted to close crop on the subject and make it fill the frame. For a weed, the dandelion heads are something else when it some to natures design.
Great job, Sandra - as usual! I agree with Paul, and wouldn't touch it.
My reaction to the framing and composition contrasts with Mike's. For me, it IS a nice tight crop, with just enough space around the dandelion. If you trimmed any margin the dandelion, and especially the all-important reflection, would begin to look cramped, if not downright amputated to me. I think composition is one of your particular strengths.
Actually, on reflection (!) Sandra, I would be tempted to raise the shadows slightly, as the darkness and tonal contrast detract slightly from the buoyancy (ah, the words this photo calls to mind!) of the image. I offer my humble suggestion. I may have overdone it.
Hi Sandra. As always I love your color palette, which makes it instantly recognizable as one of your works.
If I'm honest I do like this but don't love is as I do your others.
I think it telling that you question this yourself - in similar situations where I question my own images I often end up with the realization that they are not a true representation of myself.

Thanks Mike .. good point. I'll have another go and see what you reckon. I'm more successful growing dandelions than vegies in my vegetable garden!!
Hey Sandra, as always your work is fine as it is. So for me personally you don't need to change a thing.
Thanks Paul .. really appreciated 😊

Your humble comment is greatly appreciated Paul .. cheers !!!!

Does that make sense?
What I don't know about art would fill volumes, but I like it.
