Going back to 'straight' photography somewhat. With temperatures rapidly rising here in Vermont I ventured out looking for final snow/ice images to wind up the season. This was taken in a pond, with trapped debris starting to break the surface of the ice.
I was struck by this perfectly preserved Maple leaf, a remnant from the Autumn of 2019.

Following constructive feedback I have taken a second look at the image (see below), bringing in the crop a little and working on the toning.
