Oil and water don't mix

This is inspired by Kyle. I've layered oil on water and then dropped pink dye into the oil. The dye sinks to the junction between the oil and water and spreads out creating bizzar shapes. Then, if you shift to the side of the container you can also get some cool shots of the ink and it breaks through the oil/water barrier.

Just for fun!! But feedback always welcome.

Top one looks like a brain scan! You know these always prompt a Rorschach response from me. They're all good images. You're good at finding the composition in what must often be initial chaos, Ruth.

Intriguing as always Ruth. I really appreciate the way that you continue to push the boundaries and search for new options.

I'm unsure of what Chris's Rorshach friend my respond, but the 1st image for me feels like I'm looking at radioactive fungi.

I think the technique holds promise, now it's a matter of keep pushing to get those killer images we all strive for.

Great to see you back, and inspiring others.
