Airplane Museum Part 2

The old planes in this museum were a source of endless textures with their rivets and imperfect metal. The PanAm plane was navy blue with bright white writing and I thought I might be able to pull an interesting abstract/minimalish image out of. The last photo is from a plane that made me chuckle. Glad he got the camel!

Feedback welcome!

I chuckled at the camel too! When camels go bad you got to bust out the 2k pound bombs... Though, to be fair, it's got to be really difficult to hit a camel at 10k feet using unguided bombs (excluding carpet bombing of course); they can run pretty dang fast!

Forget the lone camel. What about the four whale flukes he nailed? 😉

This made me laugh out loud! I've missed you Phillip. You always give me a smile!

You guys are too funny - what next, paint in your own creations?

Austin, Texas Blue Hour

Was down in Austin for a bit on a work trip. I've always heard how beautiful the skyline is from the river.

Was a little let down by the clouds, but what can I do!

Two from Tenerife

My two favourite images from my recent night time adventure in Tenerife. Foregrounds and skies were shot separately and blended in PS.

Any interest in this group?

Hi all, I was looking for such a group but see that although there are many members there hasn’t been a single post. Is there interest out there in getting this group going?
