Nice one, Shareef! The colour contrast of the flower with everything else is very striking. I find BCAP's edit, especially the reframing, takes the image further again.

Digging your edit, Shareef. The processing gives the image a rustic, old-world feeling that suits the colors and tones nicely - cheers.

Really nicely done Shareef, love the color and tones.

Hi Shareef, late to comment but in general agreement with others. I like your restraint in the coloring on this, and the natural frame created by the leaves above and below the rose.

I think Broken's edit brings out the rich tones in the rose, for my own personal taste I would like just a little more 'breathing room' on the left of his crop.

Well done!

I've update the post with the original frame photo and edit, i think you will see the right composition where the flower sets,
Thanks for you time `

Hey Shareef - I don't agree with the gang here. The comments that were here with the vignette before didn't work for me. I would tone down the bokeh a little and then I think you are golden. This is a beautiful image.

So lovely edit ! i think each edit gives slight different mood, this is what i love about editing, we can change the mood of the photos as we like, thanks for that `

I can almost smell its perfume Shareef. Such a beautiful colour !

Austin, Texas Blue Hour

Was down in Austin for a bit on a work trip. I've always heard how beautiful the skyline is from the river.

Was a little let down by the clouds, but what can I do!

Two from Tenerife

My two favourite images from my recent night time adventure in Tenerife. Foregrounds and skies were shot separately and blended in PS.

Any interest in this group?

Hi all, I was looking for such a group but see that although there are many members there hasn’t been a single post. Is there interest out there in getting this group going?
