Austin, Texas Blue Hour
Was down in Austin for a bit on a work trip. I've always heard how beautiful the skyline is from the river.
Was a little let down by the clouds, but what can I do!
Two from Tenerife
My two favourite images from my recent night time adventure in Tenerife. Foregrounds and skies were shot separately and blended in PS.
Any interest in this group?
Hi all, I was looking for such a group but see that although there are many members there hasn’t been a single post. Is there interest out there in getting this group going?

Amazing. Superb composition of elements and colours. yet another feather(s) (literally) in your cap !!
my perception felt a little disturbed due to the shadows at the right. posting another version. open for discussion.
cheers.
Hey Sandra! Lovely color here. I'd pay money to learn how you get your unique backgrounds!
There are three things I want to suggest for this one.
I like Vijay's crop.
It looks like the tips of the bottom feathery parts are cut off. If you have any more of the bottom in the original, it might be worth seeing if you can a wee bit back from the crop so that these don't run off the edge. Not a big issue though so if there isn't anything more done there it isn't a big deal.
Lastly, your images usually have lighting that is so complex and layered. This one feels a little flat. I can't help thinking the it needs a little light or something around the subject. This might be just me. If no one else comments this way then I'd ignore this!
Keep them coming Sandra. You know I'm a huge fan!
Just beautiful and soft, loving the colors and tones. I don't mind the center-subject myself.
Thank you Vijay, Ruth and Joe !!!! All suggestions have been taken on board and I appreciate the time taken to look further than what I can see. I do like your version Vijay - looks more settled somehow. Cheers :o))))
Beautiful shot! I like Vijay's crop too. With the original I feel like the subject is moving from left to right. In the crop the subject seem planted and radiating out to the left. Not sure if one is better than the other, but really feel like the motion switches direction. I even feel like my eyes scan in a different direction.
