Dusk on the Charles

Just something a bit different from me. This was taken looking up the Carles river from Boston as the sun was going down.

Perhaps not for everyone, but I enjoy the way that detail becomes more discernable as you stare at it.

Feedback as always is encouraged, expecting conflicting views on this one. Remember that no opinion can be wrong, only those left unexpressed.

I guess my first question would be whether the detail would become more discernible to those who have never seen the area.

I might add that was about how I saw things when I was six-years-old, before anyone (including me) realized I needed glasses.

Thanks Chaz. My feeling is that ICM/abstract images ask questions of the viewer, providing an essence of the subject rather than a literal and recognizable form.

Like I said, I am expecting mixed reactions, but I'm happy to hear that this invoked childhood memories for you :-)
