Funny you should mention a possible exhibition theme I'm thinking of, Julian. I thought I might have to pay Neil Young royalties, so "Entropy" is the alternate title, for the moment, as I gather my thoughts, and try to find enough suitable images. The one below is still my favourite.
On checking, Young got the saying from Mark Mothersbaugh, co-founder of Devo. I'd be paying royalties everywhere! It sounds like an old saying. It is a great metaphor.
Although yours looks strangely like carpet... I really can't tell. It's playing with my mind. I like the balance in it.
:-)
Hold on Chris, is this the same image that I saw in the past without that very appropriate message?
Could it be that you are moving into the world of photo manipulation?
Welcome to the dark side my friend :-)
Alan, Alan, Alan - it's not art, it's advertising - a banner image - so that doesn't count, of course!
My ART is pure. (Pure WHAT... well, that's another question.)
;-)
Another image that asks questions of the viewer Julian. Is is really rust? On rollers? Alas, the question remains.
As Chris implies, it is a well-composed image.
