One of the recurring subjects Harry and I pay attention to during our daily walk is the variety of fences in the neighborhood. They each have a history and personality. (Some of them have dogs peeking through, mentions Harry.)
The 120 or so houses in our neighborhood were all built at more or less the same time (1987-1993) using five variations of the same design. What exterior variability there was included mostly exterior color choices and whether to use aluminum or brick/stone siding. Now, more than thirty years later, things have evolved somewhat. Many fences were added, almost all of which were wooden. Some of those fences were maintained and some were not. Some were replaced with iron spindles and others with resin (plastic) imitation wood. Styles change.
Nice to see you pushing the boundaries once again Andrew, I like the variety in these.
Does Harry have a favorite, or does he stick to trees?
Harry is indifferent to fence styles. He does prefer fences with other dogs living behind them, which is essentially all of them.
