Masking

"You keep using that word. I do not think that word means what you think it does."

Apologies for the pun and "The Princess Bride" quote.

Among the common things I shoot is whatever trash is lying around the neighborhood. Not all of this is in the wetlands behind my house, most of which get there when the Perkiomen Creek floods. I have a large collection of bottles, papers, used tires, and more. A dumpster ended up sitting behind my neighbor's house a few months ago when the creek flooded during Hurricane Ida. Why it is still there is a mystery to me.

But these three images were not shot in the wetlands. These were all within a few feet of the sidewalk that Harry and I walk along every day.

I use and dispose of masks all the time... In Photoshop.

Nice play on words Andrew. This is unfortunately a statement of our current environment. I wonder what folks will make of these images in 50 years.....
