I was strolling through FB when I came across a post where an individual that was "Playing with a new idea" and it was a photograph of a Ring in the Gutter of a Book.
Really...a new idea? I let the individual know that was been around as long as 35mm film!
It got me to thinking of shadows so with the help of a search engine I found this image and thought it was a good starting point.

Sorry to comment on your photo about this. But on my cell phone, this page is split in half so I can't read the comments with the photo and description squeezed to the left. What happened fstoppers?
I had a very difficult time loading the photograph. Took four attempts as well as a reboot.
I have the same result on my iPhone Charles - oh well....
I love your crazy imagination, Dean! Even if I now know you're a plagiarist! Well, maybe not since you acknowledge your sources. This brought a smile to my face. It is quite beautiful as well, with those golden tones. Well done again!
All looks fine on my PC, by the way.
🤣
Long live plagiarism!
What a fun picture Dean. I love the experimentation - not plagiarism to me, simply building up from the foundation of a past influence.
Here is the FB post in question that set me on the path to my photograph
New idea to me, Dean. Obviously I don't spend enough time on FB.
The funny part is it was posted in a Photography group. Did the OP think fellow photographers would not call him out when claiming "playing with a new idea?
Cool picture, Dean! I do product photography for a local company. Spoons are the WORST! I always struggle with their reflections. Yours almost looks like it has 2 irregularly shaped eyes and 3 teeth.
I did use the Heal tool to remove the camera and tripod.
Well, you did a great job personifying it!
