Not that in vogue anymore, but I have always loved bokeh and always will, especially in monochrome.

Moving from FF to m43 mainly due to the longer hikes I do nowadays combined with being on the verge of the start of my 7th decade on Planet Earth, I've being looking for that bokeh lens on m43. Have tried Leica Panasonic, Sigma, Olympus, but I think this one is the best.

Chris, this is really beautiful. I love the bokeh. You're right that the monochrome is especially lovely. What kind of colors did you get in the original or did you take the photo in B&W. I get you on the reasons for the move from FF to m43. Nice work on the image!

Nice perfect circular morning dew. I really love the lighting.

As I am a L-O-N-G way from my 7th decade, at least two years, I still pack my FF and four lens (15mm to 500mm) for hikes on trails with names like Misery Ridge. I am beginning to see that with age comes wisdom. I just hope I am as wise as you when I get old.

Hi Dean, many thanks for your comment.

FF and four lenses. Wow, you must be fit, that load would kill me. I am not wise, it's because my body complains far too much after a hike.

I like your pix, especially the visitor, gloomy swamp, the Ford tri-engine and, of course, the Cat.

Rotor cuff tear in both shoulders "fixed" through surgery and carrying a 40L bag weighting in close to 30 lbs. can make for very long days...but it is always a great adventure.

I must love Photography.

You're a hard tough old photog. May your light last forever.
