I just thought I'd post these for fun and chuckle over the "well that didn't work". While making these seems like it would be a piece of cake, it actually takes time and effort to make one that works. By that I mean one where you don't see the reflected flower but rather something else entirely. And, once you see something weird in one of these you just can't unsee it!
What went wrong....
Apparently there are demons in dead roses, little tiny men in dahlias, and.... well... a cartoon monster maybe?

#1 looks like a microscopic image of a parasite that I'd see in a Biology textbook.
#2 looks like an ornate tribal headdress
#3 looks like an image of some sort of dead beetle that was shot from its underside.

The second quote is one I have always loved and the third could be in my bio. I want to keep.posting these, in part, to see what you come up with!
The last two do work especially the second. Awesome. The first one's halo and outline, yeah, doesn't really help much but the overall pattern shape is cool.
