Experiments with High Key

I have just been playing around with pushing processing limits and would like opinions on the results. Many of these may be work you have seen before but pushed to limit detail in the highlight areas.

I'd love feedback - does the high-key rendering work for you? Does the loss of detail cause anxiety? Do you have any creative suggestions in the spirit of this theme?

These are all very quick edits, and I fully expect results to push at least a few beyond their zones of comfort.

All responses, whether positive or negative will be both respected and appreciated.

There can be no right or wrong, so I am hoping that members can feel safe to participate in an engaging discussion.

Adding a high-key effect in all the photos gives them an even more abstract feel. It works really well in that way for #s 3, 6, & 7. That just may be because I prefer ICM when there's a definite sense of the subject moving with the flow of the effect, and those photos do that best. Adding the high-key element moves it over to abstract even more. That's a good idea to mix the 2 effects!
