I've been seeing lots of photographs of wine glasses filled with colored liquid and a bit of a reflection so I thought I would give it a try, except....
Empty glasses upside down on a mirror to catch the entire reflection...and in black and white. It was shot at dark o'clock to minimize ambient light
Triple exposure: Daylight temp, Magenta and Blue.
I wanted to raise the Magenta and lower the Blue as a Graduated filter look. It was okay, nothing great.
A few hours I came back to the table to put my props away and discovered the Sun shining through the sliding glass door caught a corner of the mirror and cast the light across the scene. I quickly grabbed white cardstock for a backdrop and snapped a more interesting photo. Within 2 minutes the Sun moved and the scene was gone.
Funny how that happens isn't is? That 2nd shot did turn out pretty cool. Good capture Dean!
