100% Synthography: Text-to-image model.
The Bing Image website has a link titled IMAGE CREATOR that takes you to a page there you can enter text and from that text four images are created.
I had an idea and this is the results of the sentence:
"A bear walking out of the woods carrying a roll of toilet paper talking to a hunter.
Using the divine Microsoft Paint® I added the text.
(Honestly, I couldn't think of anything that tells a story.)
Thanks for posting this Dean, I was not aware that Microsoft had their own AI generator.
I have been playing about with the new generative fill feature in the Beta version of Photoshop which can also create new images (in the vein of MidJourney, Dall-E etc).
More importantly to photographers this also includes a new content fill engine, which I believe replaces the content aware fill tool.
I have only just completed a blog entry for this on my website, detailing a 1st look of the options this provides.
This is due to be published on Wednesday but if there is interest I can publish sooner so you folks can take a look.
I'd like to see your blog entry if you could post the link when it's published.
I have just published the blog entry. Feel free to point out any errors that jump out.

I'd be interesting to hear your take on the post - is it clear/something you get value from?
Great Blog, Sir.
I can see a place for Generated AI in certain genres of photography, e.g., product photography and art photography*.
*I define art photography as intentional photos that push the boundary of realism, or better yet: I know what it is when I see it. đŸ˜‚
Thanks for the approval Dean.
I'm all for creativity and manipulation within photography. I kinda draw the line where an image is being created completely outside of any photographic process (ie purely by asking software to create new work).
I do feel there is a place for generated AI art as its own artform, as well as using AI-based tools to build on existing photos.
I haven't even started on synthography yet. I am interested; but at this point, I'm still learning photo-graphy. I guess I better start soon because at the rate it's all going I'll be left behind fast. It feels like when as a kid everyone was out running around in the woods playing stories then suddenly someone got an Atari. Lol!
I have played around with AI generated art somewhat but see it more as a new artform than as an extension to photography.
I am retired and have free time, if you/others want to set something up I'd be happy to chat on this/other photography subjects. I'm no expert, but I think we can gain from each other's experiences.
That would be good. I am not opposed to it at all and feel it is definitely an art form in its own genre, but it means I have to learn something new. Lol! I would love any simple help I can find since the internet is overwhelmed with so much right now. Is there a place on your website that you could set up for us to visit regularly?
