Sandpiper

This is a photo I took a couple years ago. I used to think it was just a snap shot. Just something to post to Instagram. But lately I've been coming back to it and the more I like it. I think the bird really adds something to the scene creating a nice "minimalist" feel to what would otherwise just be another beach sunset shot.

I think you are right Kyle, the bird certainly adds to this lovely image.

I personally feel that an artist's best works are the ones they feel compelled to revisit time and again. It doesn't matter who does/does not like them, it does not matter how they were taken, the key consideration is the connection the photographer has with the image.

Yesterday, this bird seemed to invite the sparrows to take a bath.
