On this morning walk with my wife I brought my camera (R5) with my 100-500, Mode set to Fv, Auto Focus set for Subject Animals and Eye Detection enabled.
F-stop: f/7.1
Exposure: Auto
ISO: Auto
Focal Length: 500
I was hoping to catch some of the wild bunnies that whose abode is in the bramble, or perhaps some aviary action...both I haven't had much luck with. By the time we got on location there were plenty of other walkers and bike riders, both of which tend to intimidate.
The trail is a there and back again with the terminus being a river. Nothing all the furry and feather friends were safely tucked in far from the maddening crowd.
As we started to head back my wife told me there is a speed boat on the river, bless her, her hearing is much better than mine. I turned around in time to see as the water craft passed a water skier release the tow rope and slowly sank.

Great picture! I love the action and brightness being centered horizontally through the center of the photo. The different layers are fantastic. Also, I really like it being b&w. This aids in its minimalism.
Here is the out-of-camera jpeg.
As you can see there was very little editing needed. Always get it right in camera so you never have to post-process 🤣
