I photograph many along this Theme, but rarely does it work out as well as I envision.
I like the second photo the best because my eye is attracted to the single upright stem with the single curling leaf and shadow.

Thanks. Yeah, I think this was at 8900 ft (2700m) so the light that evening was just amazing. As these are lower res copies, they aren't as clear and detailed as the originals, either.
These have nice texture and lighting. I like the first one the most. It reminds me of the glowing gown or golden hair of an oread of the Rockies.
