Sitting around a Colorado Rockies campsite when I noticed the beautiful sunset lighting on the ground. Not much great about the photos but wow, such amazing lighting and textures of the dead plants.
Thanks. Yeah, I think this was at 8900 ft (2700m) so the light that evening was just amazing. As these are lower res copies, they aren't as clear and detailed as the originals, either.
I photograph many along this Theme, but rarely does it work out as well as I envision.
I like the second photo the best because my eye is attracted to the single upright stem with the single curling leaf and shadow.
