the one universe's timebase is simple and its content is much more minimalistic than the other universe ... once you see it you can't unsee it (i love taking cityscapes - this one was one of my first night attempts of a LE and only to found the heron in post ... i sort of got hooked after this shot )
LE are one of my favorites too. So awesome the bird didn’t move, herons are perfect for LE. I like everything about that shot.

Great capture. LE can be really fun to plat around with whether extending the shutter in midday using a 3 ND or light trails at night.
I cannot remember the last time I view a bird that late in the evening. Is this during Golden or Blue hour?

Alan Brown it was 8 sec ... but i sat there for a while doing my first exposure bracketing as it was before i learned about ND filters etc
