Input on November challenge

The end of yet another month is almost upon us and I thought I would get input from others on thoughts for the November challenge.

For those of us in the Northern hemisphere opportunities as we transition from fall to winter can be limited, so I'm thinking that the challenge may not revolve around getting out and shooting.

Some ideas I have;

- recycled art - images of a location/subject you have taken successfully on multiple occasions. That could be to capture different seasons, in different weather conditions, or separated by time and showing how the environment has changed.
I think we all have such subjects saved, but even a change in processing (eg B&W conversion) would count if pushed.

- appreciation of others - check out the portfolio of any member that posts to the group in November and select your favorite image, indicating why it is so. By that means all who initiate or respond to discussions will theoretically have all others commenting on their work.
I'm not sure how this would work but it might be fun to see what folks come up with.

- other suggestions that might inspire discussion? Whatever the suggestion it would have to be broad enough to enable all members to participate, and hopefully motivate others.

As with other discussions the M,A,E restrictions are loose and need not apply to any suggestions.

You should keep and post a list of challenges so they aren't repeated too often. Shadows.

I agree. I should probably keep track as sometimes I am not sure if I have set a particular challenge or just thought about it.

Feel free to remind me if I repeat too regularly.

I like your recycled art idea, Alan; and shadows as Charles suggested. Another suggestion is a standard photo (whole) set alongside of a shot of something within the photo (part) that is shot as an abstract/minimal macro or just an abstractly/minimalistic element of the larger photo.

Intriguing idea Jen, can you show an example to help clarify?
