The New York vibe

Not your typical New York shot....

I have been finalizing processing on my abstract images taken in New York and came across this one.

It doesn't fit the mold of others, but I quite like the way it suggests the chaos found in the city.

I am sure it does not fit the taste of many, but I enjoy the vibe and am all for presenting different ideas.

Try viewing full screen. I'd love to know reactions, good OR bad.

I like the hope of freedom rising above the bounded chaos. Those buildings seem to press all the action into the center while at the same time that pastel blue distant sky offers freedom from it all. Also the emptiness of the very bottom rising to the action suggest how in just a moment the city can go from empty to full. Something about the lights help to give it a more positive feeling though.

Also, really enjoyed your Streetwalker Gallery on your website. Looking forward to your Streetwise gallery coming soon!
